One for you, one for me
One for you, one for me was a project I ran for my newsletter readers. The offer was simple – if you cover my material costs for two paintings, you'll get one and I'll keep the other. Ten people signed up so I was able to make twenty paintings, all without it costing me a penny.
There was a subsequent show of the work, I received coverage of my offer both online and in print, and perhaps more importantly, there are now ten collectors with my work on their walls each with a great story to tell.
